This iOS item is dedicated mostly to iOS beginners, we wanted to make a custom control and add some cool and useful snippet codes that you can copy and paste into your own apps. So, it’s like 2 items in one!

LongPress Menu custom control allows you to open up a set of buttons anywhere on the screen by making a long press gesture on your device, it’s mostly used for those apps that may have several functions and you cannot place many buttons on the navigation bar or even around the screen.

…And since we thought it wasn’t enough yet, we included a few cool snippet codes for you, you can see them in action by running FVLongPressMenu XCode 5 demo project.

Snippet Codes make the following actions:

-Play a short sound (with AudioToolbox)

-ActivityView for sharing options

-ActionSheet, for sharing options or just to get more buttons in your app

-Play/Stop background music or a song (with AVAudioPlayer)

-Format and show Date & Time on a Label.

-Camera and Photo Library image picker

-AlertView, for alert messages

-Animations of an image (with UIViewAnimation, very cool feature)

-iAd + AdMob 320×50pz-banners implementation (you can double your ad revenues using this snippet code, because your app will show Apple iAd and Google AdMob banners together!)
